Service Technician – Laser Technology / Servicetechniker:in Lasertechnik (m/w/d)

We are a laser technology company based in Aachen / Kohlscheid. Our systems are primarily supplied to start-ups, research institutions, and universities that develop new technologies or set up pilot production lines.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for you — a committed individual who will assemble our systems, commission them, and install them at our customers’ sites.

Responsibilities / Aufgaben
  • Assembly and commissioning of our laser systems in Kohlscheid
  • Installation and handover of the systems at customer sites in Germany, Europe, and North America
  • Delivery of customer training sessions on site and online (partly in the evening, aligned with our customers’ office hours in North America)
  • Troubleshooting, maintenance, and support during service assignments
  • Documentation of work steps
  • Close collaboration with our development team to contribute customer feedback and technical improvements
You Profile / Dein Profil
  • Completed vocational training or a degree in laser technology, electronics, electrical engineering, physical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Confident handling of measuring instruments (e.g. oscilloscope, multimeter)
  • Experience in laser technology is desirable, but not essential
  • A structured, self-organized, and reliable way of working
  • Moderate customer-facing experience, with a confident manner and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 5–15 assignments per year, each lasting 3–4 days)
  • Willingness to occasionally conduct online training sessions outside regular German office hours
  • Good English skills for international customer communication
  • Valid Class B driver’s license
